The journey to the inner light
In 'Recognise Your Light in Me' Daisy Buytelaar takes the reader along on her journey to her inner light. She does this through the connection she felt with the soul of her (then still) unborn daughter. She made contact with this light to prepare herself for her future motherhood, but at the same time she went in search of herself. As a child Daisy could already perceive a lot in the 'invisible' world, but because her environment could not support her in this she had closed herself off from it. In 2017, after quitting her top sporting career, building a social career and maintaining a busy social life, she became overworked. This was the moment that her healing journey started and she opened up again to the world of light and energy.
In the meantime, the book was born over a year ago, as was her now-born daughter Bloom. Daisy has already received many reactions. "Everyone takes away different insights from the book and that is what makes it so special. I get to know my own book all the time. I think that's great!

"I found it difficult to 'let go' of the book toward the printer. Often something like that doesn't come out quite the same as how it was conceived anyway. You then have to make concessions. However, that is not the case with NPN Printing. I could really trust them and they thought along with us in a fantastic way. Without NPN Printing it wouldn't have been the same book - in a positive sense."
The feeling had to be right
During the process of writing, publisher Linda Baart came across Daisy's path. Linda edited the book and made the connection with our printing company. That's how we first came into contact with this special project, which for the most part was developed on the basis of feeling. This was particularly important for Daisy. "When I started writing, I already knew that it was important that everything was right. From the type of paper to the design on the cover, my feeling had to be right."
Linda also felt that this was going to be a special book. "I found it difficult to 'let go' of the book towards the printer. Often something like this does not come out quite the same as how it was conceived. You then have to make concessions. However, that is not the case with NPN Printing. I could really trust them and they thought along with us in a fantastic way. Without NPN Printing it wouldn't have been the same book - in a positive sense," she says.

"NPN Printing was very thoughtful about how we could make the book look as nice as possible. For example, they came up with the idea of the text on the cover and a way we could best use the gold. As a result, the designer suddenly saw countless new possibilities. The end result is definitely worth it!".
Sustainable paper
"Daisy wanted to use sustainable paper. NPN then came up with a suitable proposal: recycled paper. When Daisy held the paper, her feeling was immediately right. She immediately felt that this was the right paper."
A radiant cover
Recognize Your Light in Me is a book that shines. Literally. Linda says: "NPN Printing thought along very well about how we could make the book look as beautiful as possible. For example, they came up with the idea of the text on the cover and a way we could best use the gold. As a result, the designer suddenly saw countless new possibilities. The end result is definitely worth it!".
